Once you get the blood in the syringe, use gauze and put it on the skin where the needle tip is. Now, you need to pull the needle slowly and remove it. Make sure the person keep pressure on the gauze to stop the blood. After that, you need to put a bandage on the area.

  • Step 6: Transfer Blood

Use the syringe and the needle to transfer the blood into the tube. You need to shake the tube gently a few times to avoid coagulation.  

  • Step 7: Dispose Needle

Lastly, push the hinge cover with your thumb and close the needle with the safety cover. Now, you need to properly dispose of the needle.
